Yes if you use the rf2 out on the box, cable it to the aerial input of the tv in the other room using uhf coax cable (aerial cable), and tune the tv in analogue mode (not freeview but the old analogue) to the sky box. It's usually on CH68 but if you do an autotune it should find it. Of course you will only be watching in SD not HD on the second set.

I cant view my sky channel on my tv

So you want to view your sky TV in a different room?
You can achieve this a number of ways.

Purchase the multi-room package from Sky TV. This will give you fully independent TV reception in each room. (Basically two sky boxes)

Purchase a TV sender which will wirelessly duplicate the output on the TV to another device.

Connect your Sky box to a second TV with high-quality co-axial aerial cable connected to the RF2 output on the back of the Sky box.

How do I get sky from my set top box to work in a different room, I am trying to get my sky to work on a TV in a different room ? I have wired up TV coax cable from my sky box in sitting room and run

Hi Jim,
Here In my place in India, you can attach only one tv to the sky set top box. That too with AV cables. The program or channel changing is done by box only. The tv works as a monitor and has no role in program selection. You can attach a second tv to the box not through antenna cable but through AV cables only. That too if the box is having second set of output sockets. In that case both the TVs will receive the same programmes. To watch different programmes on the second tv you will have to go for an additional box.

Hi Jim, your nearly there, all you need to do is go into the tv menu and move from DTV to the old type channel numbers and then find the bit where you can manually tune the tv to channel 68.
Have a sky menu picture running and you will see it come in.

How do i connect dvd recorder to tv only receiving sky channels through skybox

If you have two scart sockets on your tv,then connect a scart from av1 on the dvd into the tv,then connect a scart from the sky box into av2 on the dvd, your recording channel on the dvd will be av2.
If you only have on socket on the tv,then connect a scart from av1 on the dvd into the sky box, your recording channel will be av1,connected like this you may have to turn off the sky to watch dvd`s.

How do I connect my sky, dvd, vcr and tv together so that I can record a sky progrmme on a video?

You need to connect a SCART lead from the video output of the skybox to the SCART input on your video recorder.
Be aware that you can only record what you are watching, and if you are out the skybox needs to be on and on the correct channel
