I need someone to tell me how to fine the software for this printer or send me another copy

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

Click here:Official Lexmark Drivers and Software

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then ifyou get in troubles, followthe instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

  • Unplug printer USB.
  • Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
  • Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
  • Follow driver installation wizard.
  • Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Lost cd for lexmark x4650

Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X4650 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.

Just installed software cd for lexmark X4650 on laptop with windows 7 64 bit. Productivity Center app won't work. setup wireless print - works fine. Get a popup that says to download m.NET Framework 2.0...
You will need to use the Lexmark X4650 driver for Windows 7 64-bit from the Lexmark website. First, uninstall the existing driver from your pc. Go to Start menu -> Programs -> Lexmark 4600 Series -> Tools -> Uninstall. Reboot your pc when prompted.
To reinstall, click on this link Lexmark X4650 Driver for Windows 7 64-bit. Download, execute the file and follow the instructions on the software.

I presume your printer is the Lexmark X4650 since you posted under this model. I suggest not to plug the printer to your computer yet. There are Lexmark X4650 drivers available for download in the Lexmark website. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/cKuj3Q. Click on the Microsoft, Macintosh, or Linux/Unix dropdown found below the page to choose the version of your computer's operating system. Download and install the software. Follow the instructions on the software. Hope this helps.

Hi, i have bought a new laptop but have lost the installation software cd for my x4650. can i download something to help?
don't know your os, prob. xpsp3, vista or windows 7. if your printer is usb, try unplugging the usb, rebooting laptop- then plug printer usb back in. should get 'new hardware detected' pop-up. follow directions, choose re-install from list, locate your printer, high-lite it and try installing from os files- if that doesn't work- get online to lexmark website, and find your printer model and version #- should be on label under front flap or on back. down load offered software (should be free!) if you have usb stick, download to that then copy to your hdd! then run the install wizard- follow directions! that way, you'll have it on your hdd and backed-up on usb stick!! keep track of your stick, in case you need it again!! (that's the hard part!!) those suckers are easy to misplace.

The software you need is Abbyy Sprint OCR. If it's not installed, I suggest running the printer setup again, making sure it's selected when you get to the software list. Perhaps you unchecked the box when you ran the installation the first time, or didn't know what it was and uninstalled it from your computer. You may be able to find it by hunting through the CD, but it will probably be easier to run the setup again.
