Continuous Blue Light Flashing, Mistubishi LT-52244

The TV does NOT turn on anymore...it was stored for a few months and plugged in recently & actually worked for about 2 weeks. Now the blue light flashes continuously...what happened? What needs to be replaced? What part number do I order? is it the DM Board? If so, is the part number 921C549004 or 921C549008?

Try unplugging for 1 minute, then plug back in again. It appears that the unit is initializing, if it continues in that mode you may need the DM PCB

part# 921C549008

It is possible that you have a bad power supply, or the TV has been hit by a small power surge and if you unplug the set from the wall for 40Min., it will rest back to normal.

Fault with serial data; serial clock signal path. Serial clock path is OK, but data path must be traced. Seek tech support. This is a very skilled work.

Good day!!!!

That problem is usually cause of faulty capacitors on the power supply board..

Just follow this instruction to fix your TV..

1. Open the back cover of your TV.
2. Look at the power supply board..Its normally connected to the power cord..
3. After that,,try to look at the actual image of capacitors if it is bulged on the top so that you can easily determine the bad capacitors..
4. After that,,try to replaced the bad capacitors using soldering iron and soldering lead..replaced the capacitors only with the same type ratings and value..
5. Some of the capacitors not bulged so its better if have a capacitance meter

A continuous flashing red light with the word LAMP on it would definitely mean you're going to need to spend a few bucks on a new lamp....or for a few more, upgrade to a TV from this century that doesn't require lamp changes :)

How munch would it cost to fix my Mitsubishi TV - 52" Flat Panel TV: Model LT-52244.??? My kid hit and broke chip it.

Depends on the damage, your problem is vaque.

Best Buy, Radioshack both send off items for repair.

Find a local tv shop, if they fix it for less than $200 i'd be surprised.

depending on damage location, and severity i estimate $200-$800

Headset does not flash red/blue so I can pair it with my phone

To get it into pairing mode (flashing red and blue) turn the headset off.  Hold the main button down until the light goes red and then off.  Then push and hold that same button and keep holding it even after the blue light comes on.  It will now go into pairing mode, flashing red and blue.  Set your cell phone to find it and it should work.

Tv won't stay on

Try removing the back of the set and vacuum out the inside. It should only be a few screws and may even have little arrows pointing at them. Be sure to unplug the set first.
