Lavazza machine will not puncture coffee pods

    It seems to be leaking seals causing the pressure to fail. I'd replace the machine with a different brand designed to last longer.

Hi there if your coffee is spurting out the sides it is because the group gasket is worn or has gone hard through use and now needs replacing. Basically when you twist your coffee handle on it doesn't always form a perfect seal and so the pressure causes the coffee to spurt out the sides. If you are not sure where to get parts get in touch with David at [email protected] and he will be able to sort you out.

Using a proper coffee machine descaler, create the mix in the water container
Go into the service menu by pressing the 'Stop' button when you turn it on. Scroll throuigh the menu until you reach 4. Descale. Press enter, then scroll to 4.3 Do it now. Press enter and toggle to yes, press enter

It will then run through the descaling cycle which may take some time. After its complete, thouroghly clean the tank and pump lots of water through the system before you brew any coffee, Replace the filter also

Can't get a full cup of coffee
First, you should not be using your espresso machine as an american coffee maker. It puts way too much pressure on the components of the machine. The standard cartridges are made to do 1.5 - 3.0 ounces of espresso. should you want to make a longer cup of coffee you need to get the aroma point gran caffe cartridges, lavazza code 427. this will enable you too get the longer cup of coffee without putting the added stress on your machine. Also it sounds like your machine mighy have a problem with the volumetric device. are you getting water in the capsule ejection drawer? should you want service you should call 781-393-2929. we are an authorized lavazza distributor and repair center.
