Bummer dude. Sounds like a capacitor or processor problem. Behringer stuff is really not very repairable.
I have had to scrap lots of the stuff over the years.
Great while it works and very affordable
Check the 5 volts to the FX unit, If the voltage is low, the FX processor will keep reseting generating clicks, In a different product, the 5 volt filter cap was degraded and voltage dipped down to 4.5 volts causing resets.
Sorry, this device does NOT have a footswitch input to control the effects processor. I would suggest using an external effects unit that does have a foot switch input using the FX send and Aux returns of this unit.
Use four (4) TRS cables. Connect from the
AUX "send" (left and right) to the input of the effects unit with two of the cables. Use the other two cables to connect from teh effects out jacks to the AUX "returns" left and right.
