Lap top suddenly has no power

Hello.

If your laptop is connected to a power surge protector / power strip, flip the switch on the strip, Off then On.

If still a problem with your laptop, hold the laptop's power button for 10 seconds then power up, again.

mcdevito75 here, You can try to presss the shift key, also try to put your lap top on, with either AC wall power or battery. If this doesn"t work bring the lap top to a local Radio Shack, or Staples for help.

you may have hit the sleep or standby button. Try turning the pc off by holding down the power button untill you hear the fans stop. then power up as usual.

Probably this is due to surge current happend in the circute, butter not to switch on your lap. consult the service centre. Its is better not use the same adaptor for more troble shooting.

Mr. Pete Either you have muted the Notebook, which is only a possibility, so do check the speaker icon in the bottom right corner, and check the MASTER,WAVE.... or other scrolls.

If that's ok, then probabbly the drivers are currupted you can get those driver form here.

press the fn key on laptop hold it down and then press the power key on the laptop. once u see any display on the screen you will get some tests running on the screen. The system will show you the error message which u need to note down. else you can do a Flea Power on your laptop. Remove the adapter and the battery and then press the power button and hold it down for 30 seconds then connect the battery and adapter back and try to turn on the laptop. See if the magic works for you

It won't switch on at all, the power light is on at the front and the battery light shows re-charging. But when I press the power button on top nothing happens
