The fual pump does not turn on. I tested the pump by wiring it directly to the battery and it worked fine. I replaced the relay switch as well, and it still doesn't work. There is power and ground to the relay, however, power does not switch to the lead that goes to the pump when I turn on the ignition switch. So I need to find out where the other 3 wires go that connect to the relay.

The gear reduction starter on this motor has a pattern failure of the solenoid contacts that transmit the voltage to the starter brushes. There is a repair kit available for replacing the contacts or you might just change the starter with a rebuilt unit. Intermittent function is almost always this problem.

there should be a slot for each wire on back of ignition play with them till you get it right cant hurt anything
