To take screen shot of the active window hold the down the alt key and press printscreen if you want the whole desktop don't hold down the alt key. Then you can just paste it into paint, outlook or whatever application you want to put it in.

There should be a button on your keyboard labeled "PrtScn". It stand for "Print Screen". This will copy an image of your screen. Simply open Microsoft Paint or a similar software and select paste. Your screen shot should appear in your chosen software.

Click Ctrl and Print Screen same time. Open the Paint program and paste the picuture.

press Ctrl print screen then you can paste the screen shot into a word document and then right click the picture and select save as picture if you have windows 7 you can use the snipping tool. to find it look under all programs click on accessories then on snipping tool after it opens click and drag to select what you want a screen shot of then click the save snip button.

There is a key next to ‘win key’ called ‘Fn’. Print Screen key should be pressed in combination with that to capture the screen.

You are trying to produce a screenshot, I assume?

First, press the button labeled printscreen.
Second, open microsoft paint (you can type mspaint in search area)
Third, click on edit(second tab), scroll down and click on paste

Your screen shot should appear!

A screen shot is an Image of the SCREEN (the display) of an electronic device. It can be of your Computer Monitor a PDA device's screen or in this instance of the GPS Unit.

You have a "screen shot" of a GPS unit alongside the title of this question.
