Try plugging the TV into another known good outlet. If there is no change unplug the TV for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Plug it in and try to turn the TV on again. If you have the same result, you have a bad main board that needs to be replaced. If its under warranty have it repaired or exchanged. If your warranty has expired take it to your local TV repair shop. Hope this helps.
You do not have to do that, under uniform Aust consumer law. Your warranty applies regardless of that, but make sure you retain the sales receipt.
The major reason for filling in that card they give you is to allow them to contact you if there is a recall.
Note that if the product develops a major fault (does not work properly), the seller cannot legally force you to go away, and deal with the manufacturer instead, and it is totally your option then whether to have repair, replacement, or refund. They will tell you otherwise, but it is so.
Tries warranty service any how, they might fix it for u.Fix it ur self?Take the tv aparts.Tv have power supply board problems. That the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new reburbish power supply board for the replacement.
Possible fault in the convergence circuit, failure of the IC. I advice that you must not tamper on the TV but ask for the warranty replacement without even opening the set. You are entitled to this service and must not throw it off. So call up the dealership and register your complaint .
yes you have to otherwise if something goes wrong they might not replace or fix your TV.you need to fill out the warranty card according to the date of purchase.also call customer service and get yourself registered so in case you need any help or clarifications they can provide you with ease.
"Proscan used to be the RCA high-end trademark; RCA (at least the TVs) was purchased by Thomson; they leased the proscan name to a Korean outfit that has the TVs made in China.
I've never owned a Proscan (post RCA)... but the internet buzz is that they are of inferior quality and that it's virtually impossible to get support in the USA.
I would qualify that: Costco is selling Proscan TVs; they extend the warranty by one year (to two years); and if you have a problem, ya got Costco behind you.
So I guess unless you buy one at Costco, you should pass"
Perhaps you need to contact the entity at which you purchased the television.
