I have an old Stanley 3220.51 garage door opener. This winter, the door was frozen shut at the bottom and my wife kept trying to open it not realizing it was frozen fast. Now when it closes it reopens immediately each time. I know there are several knob adjustments on the unit but I have no idea which one does what and they are poorly marked. I have attempted to download an owners manual to guide me but it seems every "FREE" download has a must install software package with endless tool bars and additional "FREE" software packages that solve problems I don't have. Finally I went ahead and agreed to a minimal "package" to download my free manual only to find that the name Stanley does not appear in the manufacturers index! Please steer me to a site or a manual download that will tell me how to make the door adjustments.

and download the latest version of pic package 1.8 at the bottom. solved the problem in 30 seconds!

I had changed my computer with new one but the problem the new computer software is windows vista my old verson system was windows xp how can i get activate my handicam connected to my system

On the side of your opener you will find the down limit control. Using a small screwdriver turn this control in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. May take some tweaking to get it just right.

No. Too old. It doesn't use a rolling code..it uses a fixed code. All built in car remotes are designed for newer rolling code units

Try searching around here to find similar or hopefully exact opener. Stanley no longer is in the garage door business, and the company that bought them out went bankrupt.

The lights on my Stanley Model 810 Garage door opener do not work
replace the light bulbs or most people put cfl's in and the base of those bulbs are too big and the bulb actually doesnt contact the bottom of socket. try some old school bulbs. or just clean terminal bottom of socket. UNPLUG MACHINE FIRST OR YOU WILL TASTE PENNIES!!
