Needle keeps breaking

I had to change the needle and the new needle tip broke off. I replaced it and put in a new needle and the same thing happened again.

Quite possibly it is the wrong needle (not all needles are the same--some are slightly longer than others). Be sure you are using the right needle. The other thing is to be sure it is installed correctly. The needle has a flat side that has to be inserted facing the proper direction for your machine, otherwise the needle is slightly out of alignment.

There are many possibilitys

1- the needle and the fabric have to match - soft needle to hard fabric and the needle breaks - you need a needle with a higher number ex.90
2- not threaded correctly
3 - thread tension is too High to the fabric

look in the manual
good luck

Unthread the upper thread. Remove the bobbin and bobbin case. Turn the fly wheel while watching the needle go down into the bobbin area. See if the needle is hitting something

If the needle is hitting something, then the needle bar may need to be adjusted to change the height of the needle. There may also need to be an adjustment of the needle eye in relation to the shuttle. If so, the adjustment might be on the underside of the machine.

The needle keeps colliding with bobbin case

If the needle hits the bobbin case, it may break the tip of the needle. This usually happens if the bobbin case is not placed correctly. After cleaning your sewing machine, you may fail to put back the bobbin case into its original alignment.

I was sewing with my CG590 singer machine and then my needle broke. So I put in a new needle, and now it seems like it is hitting something when it goes down. What could this be and how do I fix it?

If the needle hit something (which is usually what happens when the needle breaks), it could very well have knocked the machine out of time. You can try installing another needle (make sure it is installed facing the correct direction) and see if that changes things. If it continues to hit something, you can search the internet for web sites and videos discussing "sewing machine timing" or take it for service.

Thread breaking

Hmm... this seems silly... but are you remembering to put your presser foot down? I find I sometimes forget when I have thick materials.

Top thread keeps breaking, I've re-threaded to make sure it's right, wound and re-inserted a new bobbin, checked the needle to make sure it's not bent (as described in the manual) and put it back with flat...

Not sure if you noticed but if you thread a machine with the pressure foot down it will not thread correctly. There are two little things that sorta looks like symbols for the tension on most machines. (learned this when my viking 600e kept breaking thread and I put it in shop) If you thread the machine with the pressure foot down it closes the symbol things and the thread will break as you described. If you have completed that correctly check the spool of thread. You may have a burr on the thread spool that is catching the thread that too has happened to me.

What happens if the needle breaks?

Extra needles came in the accessory bag. Just unscrew the screw above the presser foot, remove the old needle and put in a new one. These are common sewing machine needles, but the LS2125 will also handle dual needles. There are numerous videos online that show how to do this.

My needle broke, and i don't know how to replace it.

There should ba a screw that can be loosened enuf to remove broken needle. Be sure to replace new needle with flat side in the same way as the old one, otherwise thread will keep breaking.
