Clock on Bose Radio

Since the clock changed to Daylight Savings time, it's displayed in military time and I can't seem to get it back to regular time. How do I fix this?

Hello,

If you have the orignial Bose Wave radio, to get the time back to a regular (AM/PM) format, just:

1) turn the radio OFF
2) Hold down the "Alarm Setup" button
3) Press the "On/Off" button to toggle the clock display

For additional help or other Wave Radio models go to this page or to the Bose site and do a search for user manuals.

Good Luck!

Thank you! My cat stepped on my Wave radio and it's been on military time for so long! Now I don't have to do the math every time I look at my Bose clock! Thank you!

I want to change the time from military to regular, but my bose does not have clock set just and arrow to the right and left for time

The manual is available at Bose.com and page 17-18 shows the detail.

To set AM/PM (12 hour) or Military (24 hour) time - Press the On/Off button once to turn your Wave radio off.

Press and hold Clock Set, and then press On/Off to switch between AM/PM (12 HR) or military (24 HR) formats

There is a solution for this already. You can reprogram the clock to use the new DST settings.

Daylight Savings Times Changed

We set the time zone to '7' , which is Hawaii time zone where there is no change for daylight savings. This came up because it changed automatically on this morning...and although we can change it back, then it won't change next week when it should. So we're hoping that by setting it to Hawaii it will be a regular clock, we will do the changing...but at least we won't be surprized as we were this AM.

Help daylight savings time is not here yet

I am going to try changing to time zone 7 (Hawaiian Time). Hawaii does not observe DST so this should turn the clock into a regular clock that ignores DST and you need to set yourself twice a year.
