My Casio 2100 has frozen and is producing an error message I can't clear

You have to go to Z mode and reset open checks (open cheque report). It will clear all current checks but it will print the totals for you. Then you can use checks again.

you must install a software utility freeware for to clean memory. and fix it. Search in the internet and download it.

This indicates the actual processor in the machine has failed. Unfortunately the processor is the most important part of the whole register. If it is in fact a Casio register it can be repaired, but you will need to contact them. They are open right now actually, give them a call at 1-800-706-2534

three beeps usually denotes a RAM problem in your system. Try re-inserting your RAM again into the slots properly.

If the Register shows "FeRR26" it might be the mainboard/printer problem, and it have to send back to CASIO authorised centre to repair.

Press any key other than "on/off" to clear the DATA ERROR off the screen. Then, the screen will say "initial". Press "set"
