How do I cut on MMS on my mytouch phone

I had this same problem and called Motorola for support. The solution is to clear text/mms message inbox and outbox. The default setting on my phone was to never clear the inbox but I changed that to remove messages when they are 10 days old, I have not experienced the problem since.

The phone allocates a certain amount of storage for messages on a whole. Even though there may still show space available for text messages, you have hit an invisible "limit" and the phone is now defaulting to MMS messages because there is "room" there. Delete a fair amount of messages and you should be able to start sending regular text's again.

there's nothing wrong with the phone. get the settings from the service provider

Have you tried deleting your inbox and outbox. Sometimes RAZR phones have problems with the texting and email when the number of text are alot.
