You are right this is a hotel TV. When they sell those they usually bundle the "master" remote with one of the TV and the remaining TV get the "guest" remote.

The DVD player should have a coax cable output on it, You can switch its output to either channel 4 or 3. This channel 3 signal should play on your TV. murf427

It mike have got hit by a small power surge and if you unplug the set from the wall for 40 Min., then it should reset back to normal.

look through the video or setup menu and find Picture Format- make sure it is not set to ZOOM.
I believe "format" is also on the remote-- upper left?

There is no source button. The front of the tv only has Menu,volume, channel, and power. When u manually go thru the channels the AUX does not come up. I have this tv and have not found a solution to this problem either.

No, S-Video is video only. Look for the Audio output jack on your computer (usually its a lime green earphone hole). you will need a 3.5mm to RCA Stereo output wire, and attach the RCA audio to the AUX input of your TV, and then hook it to the Earphone/Speaker output jack on your computer. Then you will have to set your computer volume at about 75% (not all the way up, but more than halfway up). Then you can adjust the volume on the tv set. (just fyi, if you have bass boosting on the COMPUTER, turn that off, as well as any Equalizer or BASS/TREBEL booster. Set your mixers and boosters to NORMAL for best sound. not doing so could produce popping or scratching in the sound from the TV, also, if you have your PC volume higher than 75% that can also cause popping)

I have a RCA Commercial Monitor-receiver Model # J25435.I got this TV from a hotel that was updating to flat panels, they had the front and back video and audio panels disconnected and I am attempting to find out how to get them fixed. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

there should be 3 sets of video rca jacks on tv or receiver they might have put them on the wrong rca jack in which they just need to be moved over
usually the 3rd set of rca jacks are component jacks not for tv or video but for low output signals say like cameras and only one set of rca's can be used at a time svg on one of them rca's will over power the vid's. so have no picture

They must have them made that way so hotel guests cannot change the settings. Maybe there is a reset button on the back somewhere? I don't know of TV's having these. Some dvd players and recorders have them. It could be a small hole too that you have to press the button with a paperclip.

Thats my best guesses.

1) Buy RCA remote part # 240895 original about $25.00
2) Enter channel 00 for video sometimes works
3) Channel down 4-3-2-Vid 1, Vid 2, etc. sometimes works
4) Try Auto-Program Channels selection ( can be accessed on
front of set buttons or remote
