Use the USB port on the side to plug in your phone/tablet. Push the sync set switch and it will sync to the time/date on the device. It worked with my iPad3. I have no data about other devices.

This is a hotel version of the iHome iPL10 which has the Set Clock button on top. Instead, the set/sync button is on the back of the unit. This is typically covered by a plastic cover to keep guests from messing with the time settings on the clock. The covered buttons allow you to set Volume Limit: high or low, Time: set/sync, and Day Light Savings Time (dst) +1 -1 or Auto.

Since this is the hotel version, there is no User Manual on iHome's web site.

If you hold down the set/sync button for 4-5 seconds, it'll enter a time setting mode. The adjust alarm +/- buttons can be used to adjust hour, minutes, and date. Hit the set button to cycle from hour -> min -> date -> functional mode.

Looking for iHome clock radio repair manual for Model iBN20

I do not have access to specific repair manuals for iHome clock radios or any other specific products. However, you may be able to find a repair manual or troubleshooting guide for your iHome clock radio online by visiting the iHome website or contacting their customer support team.
Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue with your iHome clock radio:
  1. Make sure the power source is working properly by plugging the clock radio into a different outlet.
  2. Check the LCD panel's brightness settings to see if they are set to a low level. This can be done by pressing the "Dimmer" button on the top of the clock radio.
  3. Reset the clock radio by unplugging it from the power source and leaving it unplugged for several minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be best to contact iHome customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide you with more detailed troubleshooting steps or advise you on how to safely open the casing if necessary.

Hello, I have a iHome iH9 clock radio Non of the buttons work, can't set the time etc. Power supply was bad, replaced. Did a reset numerous times to no avail. What else is left except trash can?

If the iHome iH9 clock radio buttons are not working, make sure that the button or dial is clean. Dust particles may prevent the buttons from moving freely or from working properly.

How do i set the alarm on my ihome alarm dock?

Once the time is correct, users can move on to setting the alarm itself. Many iHome systems come with dual alarms allowing couples to set different times for each person or individuals to designate a weekday and weekend alarm. Each alarm has its own time, wake-to source, and frequency. The process of setting the alarm is the same for both options, the only difference is what button, either 1 or 2, users depress when setting it.

Once ready to set an alarm, users need to push and hold the button down, waiting for the alarm time to appear on the clock's display. From there, the up and down arrows or plus and minus buttons adjust the time backwards or forwards accordingly. Once that is complete, users select the frequency of the alarm by pressing the alarm button again and then opting for 7, 5, or 2, which correlates with all week, weekdays, and weekends respectively.

The final part to set is the wake source of the alarm. Users press alarm buttons one more time, and then use the same directional buttons to choose from iPhone and iPad on some models, radio, buzzer, or playlist. If users choose playlist, they must also setup a playlist within their Apple device titled iHome.

Because frequency is part of the alarm setting process, there is no need to turn on the iHome alarm manually as one would do with a normal alarm clock. However, users can check to see if the alarm is active by looking at the screen of the clock for the earliest alarm time, displayed on its lower part.
In the mornings, when the alarm sounds, users have two options: Snooze and disarm. The disarm process turns off the alarm until the next day in its frequency chain. Users disarm the alarm by pressing the power button. On the other hand, users must manually program the snooze button. Users do this by pressing and holding the snooze button and then toggling to the desired snooze time, generally between one and 29 minutes. Once this is set, users simply press the snooze button in the mornings to delay the replay of the alarm for that amount of time.

Ihome--ih8,

I got the iH8 as a present everything works fine except for the ipod alarm. the unit will play my music when i press the play ipod button, and recognizes its plugged in, but when i set the ipod alarm, without taking out the ipod or anything, it doesnt go off with my music, it just buzzes. Idont think it is the ipod because i have updated the software on the ipod and have even tried 3 different ipods with the iH8. i have had the iH8 for about 2 weeks and set it nearly every day, and out of all those times it has gone off with my music only 3 times. How do i get it to work every time!??

Look at the Box and the Manual! 3rd Generation is not supported by iH9! Clearly marked on the Manual.
