If MIDI is hooked up there are only the audio signals left to connect...
Try to connect the audio outputs from the M1 to the DI´s of the interface via instrument line cables and routing them to/in your software...then set up midi channels for one instrument track that triggers the M1 and activate an audio track to record/monitor your incoming M1 audio signal
Without knoowing what type mic you have and where it is connected we can't help you. Normally a mic is connected via an XLR to XLR cable to one of the input XLR jacks. Then you turn up the top white knob... start at about 3 o'clock. This is the input trim control. Set the grey pan control in that same line of knobs to 12 o'clock. Move the slider up for that column AND move the MAIN slider up.
The speaker should be in the A/B mode for stereo. With these settings you should get mic output.
Please view videos on YouTube about "mixer setup". MOST mixers are about the smae and what you learn about any of them will apply to your unit. One other thing is IF you are using a CONDENSER type mic, you will need to turn on the PHANTOM power switch. Note condenser mics are so sensitive that they must be used in a studio as if they can hear the speakers at all, feedback will occur. Also be careful if your speaker plugs are 1/4 inch, do NOT lett the sleeve of channel A touch ground as the sleeve, not the tip is hot.
You will plug an UNBALANCED 1/4 inplug cable into the MONI jack on the front of the unit. The other end will probably need to be an XLR plug to connect to the Kustom POWERED monitor. Please note that the UNBALANCED output of the Phonic is NOT good engineering practice. The Phonic stuff is normally low-end and they don't do everything correctely, although for a small system it should work. IF you get excessive hum from using a long cable to the Kustom with a "Kludged" unbalanced to balanced cable, you MAY need to use a DI box at the Phonic end to convert the unbalanced Phonic MONI output to a balanced line (XLR to XLR) for a longer run to the Kustom monitor. You might get a 1/4 inch TS to XLR balanced plug that has a transformer in it and use an XLR to XLR cable to the Kustom. Please note that having this plug in the Phonic hangs out and is easily bent over so I would recommend using a right angle connector at the Phonic and plug the 1/4 inch TS to XLR adaoter into that so the yanking of the XLR cable won't break the 1/4 inch adapter off in the Phonic.
It is possible and depends on the length of cables you will need. If you are using a fairly long run of say 50 feet, I would put a DI box with "ground lifted" to convert from unbalanced to balanced. If the cables are short, then you can probably use a unbalanced 1/4 inch plug to XLR adapter and an XLR to XLR cable between the adapter and the speakers. The system should be safe and should NOT cause any damage. Remember to run the whole interconnected system from ONE receptacle or power source.
What cables are you using? I have found brand new XLR cables that were mis-wired causing hum.
Check that the signal wires connect to pins 2 and 3 in the connectorss and that the shield is tied to pin 1.
Better way... Connect the main speakers via the Speakons and then put a Power Subwoofer to one of the Monitor connections IF you are not using both stage monitors. If you need to kill the lows to the mains, use the EQ in the PMP-3000.
Use the EQ that is USUALLY on the subwoofer to kill the highs to the sub.
Lot less cables and hardware.
REMEMBER for equipment safety, power ALL interconnected equipment from the same source be it a receptacle or power distribution system.
Powering parts of a system from receptacles strewn around a room is asking for trouble of ground loops and ground faults.
