SOURCE: My Samsung p400 laptop won't power on. There are

1. Take the battery out of the laptop & try to turn on the laptop using power

adapter only. If the computer turns on, then the battery is defective & needs to be

replaced.
2. Make sure the power adapter is not defective. Test the output voltage of the

power adapter using a voltmeter. Compare the voltmeter reading to the nominal value

written on the adapter or the laptop.
3. Make sure the DC jack is not loose or broken. A loose DC jack will need to be re

-soldered. A broken one will need to be replaced.
4. If you have another processor which is compatible with your laptop's model, try

swapping processors & test to see if the laptop will work.
5. The power button could be bad.
6. The motherboard could be defective & needs to be replaced

SOURCE: samsung n150 laptop will only

Hi there, it sounds like your battery is no longer functional. You will have to replace your battery in order to get this working again. Before you replace it, ensure that the contacts on the battery and the laptop are clean and connecting - the odds of this being the problem are slim, though. -Alex

SOURCE: sAMSUNG LAPTOP PLUGGED IN NOT CHARGING

try removing the battery and just use the mains power. If the laptop works you may need a new battery. If it doesn't your charger is faulty.

What should i do with my samsung n150 plus since it has no display on screen when i turn it on and only the led light for the on/off stays after turning on? Please help me.

Have you tried connecting it to an external monitor via the VGA port? It could be that the LCD panel has died. If this happened after coming out of sleep mode or hybernation I suggest pulling the battery, disconnecting the AC adapter and, with no power at all, hold the Power Switch down for a full 30 seconds for a complete power drain. Then reconnect the AC Adapter and replace the battery and test.

It's worked for me in the past - it just might work here.

Good luck,

Laptop screen goes black when charger plugged in

Check your power settings, there might be something wrong in them that makes the laptop switch to sleep mode when you plug it in.

Samsung R428 notebook wont switch on

This problem, from your description, is very unlikely to be because of a change in your settings, if nothing happens when you try to turn your computer on.
If no power is being supplied to your computer - no lights come on - then
you might just have the combination of a flat battery and a faulty power adapter. You must test the power adapter (measure the output voltage with a voltmeter) or obtain another one (preferably temporarily/borrow) to see if your computer will turn on with that. If your power adapter has failed it must be replaced. If still in warranty, Samsung or your retailer/dealer should replace it at no cost. (you should not attempt to repair a power adapter)
Otherwise (or even as a first step) I suggest you contact Samsung support by email or Live Chat (details are on this
http://www.samsung.com/in/support/model/NP-R428-DA01IN
webpage.) Please have your computer's model number, serial number, operating system and other details to hand (the numbers
can be often be found on labels on the case of your PC)

Unplug, remove battery, plug in, push the on/off button. Describe what happens, fan spins? LED's blink? HDD LED blinks? Have you tried a System Restore/Recovery? This may be useful: http://www.samsung.com/sg/consumer/pc-peripherals-printer/notebook-pc/netbook/NP-N150-JA05SG-support

Samsung notebook N150 Plus has gone completely dead

Try another AC outlet, try another cord/charger of the EXACT same power spec. Has the AC jack in the computer been damaged by pulling on the cord? Power surge? With a multimeter, verify DC volts at ac cord plug. Is the Laptop usually left plugged it when not in use? Do you shut it down and unplug when not in use?
