Stiebel eltron boiler has a clicking noise when not turned on, if you press the CHANGE button it's comes on and doesn't click. Please help!

The clicking is possibly the thermostat relay trying to call for heat. Try turning down the thermostat...if the clicking stops that indicates that the problem is in the control board's relay. You will have to change out the control board. Don't forget to turn off the breaker for the boiler before you start the work!

I have an error code 68 what is this?

The error code means a key is stuck; enter the service diagnostic mode and perform the key test to determine which key is stuck. Once the key is determined, try to unstuck it; replace the Electronic Control Board (Part Number AP3851146 if the error code continues to appear after the button is unstuck.

Press and hold simultaneously the Select and Cancel buttons for six seconds to reset the control then immediately after the buzzer sounds, turn the cycle selector knob 5 clicks counterclockwise to position the cycle indicator light second (Touch Up) from the bottom.

Press and hold the Options and Cancel button simultaneously for two seconds to enter the service diagnostic mode. The buzzer will sound three times and all of the LEDs will flash indicating the service diagnostic mode has been entered successfully.

Rotate the cycle selector knob 4 clicks to the Heavy Duty cycle; the motor runs with the heater off. The buttons can now be tested. Press each button and all corresponding LEDs should flash; otherwise the button is stuck or a faulty. Unstuck the key and perform the key test again; replace the control board if the problem is not resolved.

Access to the control board requires the removal of the top panel and the console. Disconnect power to the dryer prior to servicing to avoid the risk of electric shock.

Remove the two screws attaching the top panel to the rear of the dryer then slide the panel rearward and lift it off the dryer.

Remove the four screws, two on each side, securing the console to the front panel then flip the console forward. Disconnect the wires from the control board and lift the console off.

Remove the five screws mounting the control board to the console and lift the control off. Remove the control board's rear cover by releasing the two locking tabs the flip the cover off the control board. Try to unstuck the faulty key and reassemble the dryer in reverse of the disassembly steps.

Hope helps.

I have a Magtag wall oven MEW6530DDS model. The panel buttons do not work. I've had the oven about 3 yrs. Do I need to replace the control panel or control board?

The control board. As long as none of the buttons appear to be stuck. Press each button one at a time feeling for the retraction or click. If this checks good replace the control board. Here is a link that should help http://appliancehelponline.com/ovenerc.html

Menu Scrolls Uncontrollably

The most common cause of the problem is a stuck/shorted button either on the television or on the remote. The worst case scenario is a faulty key control board. Remove the remote control battery or put it away from the television. Press the menu button on the television and check if the menu scrolls by itself. If yes, the DOWN button is stuck or shorted. You can actually hear or feel it click when pressed if it is not stuck.

Open the back of the television to gain access to the key control board. You can either repair/replace the faulty button or replace the key control board. Remove the screw holding it to the television casing. Disconnect the old board and install the new one.

Replace the remote control if the buttons on the television control are working properly.

Ignition button won't click down

Had the same problem. The HSI relay (SIEMANS T7CS50-24) on the circuit board went bad on mine. That part is hard to find since it's so old so I just got a panel mount 24V relay and soldered the two control wires to the correct locations on the board and everything is peachy. Most people should probably just get a new circuit board though.

Monitor will not wake up when pc is turned on

How do I disable the power, sleep, and/or wake buttons in Windows? Answer: Disable the computer's ACPI feature If you wish to disable all three of these buttons, you can disable the computer's ACPI feature in BIOS / CMOS. Additional information about how to enter the BIOS / CMOS setup can be found on document CH000192. Once in BIOS / CMOS setup, you can disable ACPI in the power category. The location of this option is almost always different between all BIOS manufacturers and versions of BIOS.
Change the power option within Windows Microsoft Windows XP users By default, Microsoft Windows XP will prompt you what to do when the power button is pressed on the keyboard. If you wish to change this setting, follow the below steps.
  1. Click Start / Settings / Open the Control panel
  2. Within the Control Panel click Power Options
  3. In the Power Options Properties window, click the Advanced tab.
  4. Under Power buttons, click the down arrow under "When I press the power button on my computer" and/or "When I press the sleep button on my computer" and select the action you wish to perform when pressing the key.
Microsoft Windows 2000 users Unfortunately, Windows 2000 does not have all the features Windows XP does. However, you can change the power button or other buttons to perform a different function. For example, changing the power button to suspend instead of power. To do this, follow the below steps.
  1. Click Start / Settings / Open the Control panel
  2. Within the Control Panel, click Power Options
  3. In the Power Options Properties window, click the Advanced tab.
  4. Under Power buttons, click the down arrow under "When I press the power button on my computer" and/or "When I press the sleep button on my computer" and select the action you wish to perform when pressing the key.
