Hi, it maybe possibly your battery to drained flattened to the point where it cannot accept a charge from the wall charger. the best thing to do is to try and trickle charge your tablet from a low voltage/amperage connection. Either a powered on PC USB port to the charging connector on your tablet, or from a low power phone charger (5v/500ma). It has been pretty well documented that lithium batteries do not like to be drained fully & it may be that the battery in your tablet has drained so low that it cannot accept a charge from the Lenovo a/c charger.
Try a trickle charge for 8-10 hours (or longer) on your tablet & see if that gets enough charge into your battery to enable it to recognise & accept a charge from the a/c charger.
Else it replacement of charger or some hardware failure in your tablet
Seems like internal battery charge controller has got fault or internal battery is not accepting charge. If it is under warranty then take it to the servicing centre.
This shows that the battery is not healthy enough to accept 100% charge and is only healthy enough to accept 75%.
The solution is to claim warranty support on the basis of a faulty battery, if you have not had it long.
The alternative option is to purchase a replacement battery, you may even get one that holds more charge. A 6cell will enable you to use your laptop longer than that of a 3cell.
If you have a gel battery (non acid) which you probably do then you will need to charge this battery properly using a 4ah charger as when this battery gets very low it will not accept the charge rate from your generator or a normal lead acid battery charger you have to charge it with the proper charger untill it reaches a certain point then it will accept the charge from it's normal source.
The battery may be too drained to accept a jump. I would suggest charging the battery for about an hour or so and see if it accepts a charge. If not youll need a new battery.
With the limited information provided, a simple first step is to make sure the internal battery is either fully charged or is in a condition to accept a charge. When the internal battery's charge is allowed to below a certain level, it will no longer be capable of accepting a charge via the car charger.
The battery can be conditioned to accept a charge easily, however. This is done by connecting the GPS to the computer via USB port, NOT the car charger. Some Garmin GPS units come with a 120 volt charger that connects to the USB port of the GPS - this method is also an acceptable charge / condition method. Leave the GPS connected for 8 hours or longer (over night) and try to power up again.
