If the paper tray on your Kangaro HP-45 stapler is not lifting to create space for papers, it could be due to a few different issues. Here are some steps you can take to fix the problem:
Check the tray for any paper jams: If there is paper stuck in the tray or in the stapler mechanism, it could be preventing the tray from lifting. Carefully remove any paper or debris that may be obstructing the tray.
Check the spring: The tray lifting mechanism in the stapler is usually spring-loaded. If the spring is damaged or worn out, the tray may not lift properly. Try replacing the spring with a new one.
Check the lever: The tray lifting mechanism may be controlled by a lever or other mechanism. Check that the lever is properly aligned and not obstructed by any debris.
Check the tray guides: The tray guides may be bent or misaligned, preventing the tray from moving smoothly. Try adjusting the guides to ensure that the tray can move freely.
Check the tray stop: The tray stop may be preventing the tray from lifting. Check that the stop is properly aligned and not obstructed by any debris.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be necessary to take the stapler to a professional repair technician for further diagnosis and repair.
I presume you are talking about a kodak projector. Look down into the center of the slide tray as it sits on the projector. There may be a small slot. Get a quarter, put it in the slot and turn it clockwise (?) a little, then lift the end of the tray furthest from the stuck slide. The tray should lift away. WITH THE RING ON, turn the tray over and rotate the metal bottom of the tray until it clicks, returning it to the "zero" position. Turn off the projector (if it's on) and retrieve the slide. Turn the projector on and hit the FWD button to get the arm situated correctly.
There are a few things you can try when the tray wont lift.
1. Remove the tray from the machine, pull it out, lift it up and it should slide out. There is a black box in the back of the machine with some sensors that slide in and out of it. sometimes those will get stuck. jiggle them to make sure they're all free, then put the tray back in.
If it doesn't lift at this point you might need a new lift motor, call your local sharp dealer.
Tray 4 paper lift motor failed. Most likely paper is lodged behind the drawer causing the lift mechanism to fail. Remove the tray, then the stuck paper.
OK I fixed it. One of the CD's had gotten stuck between trays in the loader. I pulled out a few CD's by forcing open the trays gently. However even after removing as many cd's as possible one was still stuck. 1. Remove screws holding cover plate on in back and sides. 2. Remove cover. 3. Lift face plate latches and lift over top of unit. Remove serial cables from connectors on board. Take face plate and place aside. Remove screws from back of CD tray unit and bend back metal tab with flathead screwdriver. Lift CD unit up on one side so you can get your fingers up inside underneath and push stuck cd towards tray openings. You can gently force top few trays out. You may need to shake unit so that stuck cd reaches open end. Pull out CD. 4. Replace faceplate and connect serial cables. Plug in power cord, power on unit and make sure trays will eject normally. 5. Put it all back together!
the lift motor for the paper trays is faulty or if yu pull the trays out and look behind the tray there are som connection there check there aint no paper stuck there.. if you put the trays back in on at a time you should find the one causing the problem.. my money is on the lift motor as this lifts the tray up to the paper sensor to show paper in trays..
Have you would try a different paper cassette.
Usually that clunking noise is associated with gears not mashing.
Is the lifter lifting the platform or not?
There might be something above the paper tray, maybe even the paper input assembly preventing the paper platform from reaching the top.
Check these and let me know what happens.
sc 502 is the problem related to tray lift motor .open the backside of the machine ,almost downside u ll find one spring broken .replace tat the tray will start working.
On the Brother DPC130C
Take off the back cover, sort of triangular piece of plastic.
Take power cable out, turn the device on its side and look at the back in the centre there is a white piece of plastic lift that up with a ruler or such device lift the white plastic thingo and slide the tray out.
Don't forget to put all pieces back in place before using printer.
