Does jazzy have to be in certain position to charge it

You need to have a hand held programmer that techs use or even customers. This programmer plugs into the charging socket under the joystick, turn unit on then change speed profile back to 100%. They are set back to prevent accidents for certain patients. Get online and look up Pride Mobility to buy one or have a local dealer send a tech to your location. Good Luck.

7 year old batteries are too old. They will never charge fully. Replace both batteries at the same time.

Check fuse or circuit breaker, connections, power cable....

if it can be pushed then the free wheel locking lever is needing to be put in the locking position

how long in storage? if the voltage is below a certain threshold the charger wont come on for safety reasons. try removing and charging each batt separately careful to note the EXACT!!!!!!! positions and configuration when putting them back then try charger if not then batts are prob bad

how dead are the batteries. some chargers won"t charge until a certain voltage threshold is met as a safety measure

I tried to charge my jazzy. The charge light (red) remained on for several hours. Finally I moved the wire slightly the charge light turned green than faded to red. What is my problem? Your solution would be greatly appreciated.

Things I would check are ... Power at the outlet? Is the charger ON? Is there a fuse or circuit breaker involved? Are you certain it was plugged in (charger to charge port)? Have you noticed any deterioration in its operation recently?

It has to be lock which is drive mode in order to work.
