My panasonic disk tray wont open its trying to but wont any idea please

Try unplugging the device for a minute or so, and replugging it in. If this doesn't help, take it in to have it open and your disk removed. the tray could have fell out of sprocket or the tracks.
Hope this helps-

Dear sir i have a compaq prsario desk top having vertival mounted cd drive. i tried to load small cd on this but it got stuck and cd drive is partially opening and the cd is not coming out. wat am i todo?

place the computer in a position in which the tray will be horizontal ..after that take a look near the tray it is a hole in which a sharp object inserted will open the tray manually ..in case it is not opening from the eject ...and remove the disk ..
if the disk will not remove ...turn the computer upside down but the tray to be in same horizontal position ..This happens cause the disk is not staying in place .....and the tray being in horizontal position and upside down..the disk will come out when the tray is opened

One of the trays on my CD2 will not open. There is a cd still in there. The other tray is working fine. How do I get the tray to eject?

The safe way is to remove the cover. SOMETIMES the problem is a little rubber belt that drives the tray carriage loses traction. To protect the disk, remove the cover and investigate the problem and manually remove the disk.

The DVD door does not open and there is no DVD in the holder.

To get the tray out for inspection try straightening a paperclip. On the face of most disk players there is a small hole. Push the paper clip into the hole, and the disk tray should release. Pull the tray out to it's full extension. Power being on or off is immaterial. Hope this help.

Liteon dvdrw tray does not open

I had the same problem with my LiteOn dvd re-writer. It appears to be caused by a worn or slipping drive belt. I found the following link helpful http://www.mmmonkey.co.uk/console/other/360belt.htm
After manually ejecting the tray using a bent paperclip, the drive belt was easily removed, washed in warm soapy water, dried thoroughly and re-attached. Tray opened and closed perfectly. Still looking for a new replacement belt though!

Disk jammed in console

Remove the Faceplate by prying your fingernails into the bottom of your faceplate and pulling up. After removing the faceplate try ejecting the disk again. If it still does not eject. Straighten a paperclip and use the manual eject hole under the disk tray. Do not force anything. just push in the clip and pull the disk tray gently. Good luck. Make sure to remove your disk before sending it in for repairs because they will not send any disks back with the console.
