Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. lower your resolution on your computer. Sounds like a resolution conflict there somewhere. Also try reloading your video card drivers.

Buy THIS main board, and replace it. Most of the time, this should fix your no picture, no sound issue.

Check its T'Con board. It is faulty. Replace it.

Possible error in the processor section or the drive output section.
The set is not getting the feedback needed to switch on as there are errors that instructs not to proceed.
If you are comfortable with opening the set , please remove after disconnection of the power and check the main board, check the connectors, check for visible damage for an indication or the faultt apppears to be more complicated which requires a good circuit check.

The dvd has fried the controller of the tv - **** happens. There is nothing you can do - the mainboard of the tv must be replaced. This is a job for a skilled person so take your tv to a repair shop. And junk the dvd player. Please, please, do not post your phone number and email address on an open site again, you don't know who's looking and it might get you into troubles.
