Open door, turn on ignition. Press and release valet switch then, press and hold valet switch. Press lock button on remote. Release valet switch, turn off ignition. Test.

Open the door, turn the key on, press valet switch one time and press it again and hold it until alarm beeps if it dosent beep it means that alarm hasn't read the door open if it beeps press lock on the remote and it should beep again and its will be set. (if the alarm dosent beep you have to put the door trigger wire (green) to ground and repeat steps from beggining

take it back to the installers as they will have the unit necessary for the programming. It should not cost any thing as it should be part of the installation process.

I also need the answer to this question because I see no valet button or even the device's box anywhere.

take it out of valet, open the door push the valet switch one time, turn the key off and hit the valet button again, problem solved.

Set lock/unlock button

· open drivers door

· turn key to ON position

· press valet switch 1 time

· press valet switch again and hold

· when alarm chirps press lock/unlock on remote

· release valet switch

· turn key off

i have an 02 WRX my alarm keepes going off and i cant start my car and it keeps honking and honkin this viper system cam with the car n there is no button to press my blue button is flashing n my car is honking loud ! help! RPN 473V

read the owners guide look at page 11 remote control programing you have to follow the instructions after your in the programing mode go to page 12 look at the unlock symbol and finish the programing
