I lost the remote to my player, how can i remove the subtitles from the player manually?

Hi,

Good day, usually for dvd subtitle the only option for you to get rid of the subtitle is using the remote control. But you can check the dvd player itself if it has a menu button which will allow you to access the subtitle but when i check it i didn't see any button. So i suggest for you to just purchase another remote if you really want to have the subtitles disable. Hope this information help you a bit. Have a great day.

Subtitles keep coming on

Hiya, have bought an Alba 26" LCD TV myself today. If you go into the menu and then into subtitles change it from English to Dutch. This should solve the problem. :-)

Remote control users manual needed

I had this problem just now for the Toshiba DC-SB1 remote control model, and I think the problem might be that you're pressing the wrong button. Try pressing the "skip track" button right below where it says close caption on the remote. It's deceiving because, based on where the words 'closed caption' are, it looks as if the stop button is associated with it, but it's not. That's what I was doing wrong, it may be a different problem for you though.
