SOURCE: how to connect behringer ultragain pro mic

Here is the manual:http://www.behringer.com/EN/downloads/pdf/MIC2200_P0054_M_ENG.pdf Plug your microphone into the input using a proper cable. Plug another balanced cable into the output on the back and plug it into a microphone input on the mixing board. If your mixing board already has phantom power, disable it for that input as the MIC2200 has phantom power. Read the manual carefully and take note of the directions for phantom power and balanced cables. Make sure you follow the directions carefully. If you need the manual in a different language look the MIC2200 up under products at Behringer.com and you can download in pdf format in many different languges.

Hi ther, I have behringer B112D powered speaker and when it powers up seems to be looking for Bluetooth instead of finding normal power. Lights flash constantly but no connect when plugged into desk

Do you have the mics and dongle system accessories? Your question does not state if you have them or not. If you do have these accessories, and you only want to use the wired option, remove the dongle so it stops searching for the microphones.

Hope this helps.

My aim is to be able to drive a sine wave generator directly from vocals through a microphone. The set up I have planned so far goes - microphone (Behringer B-1) - Power supply (Behringer PS400) - min

  1. Yes, you need the PS400 with the B-1. Alternatively, you can connect the mic to a mixer with built-in phantom power.
  2. The PS400 shouldn't go directly to to the TA2020 because the power supply is providing a mic-level signal and the amp is looking for a line-level signal. Either add a mic preamp after the power supply, or if a mixer is used, that output can be fed to the amp.
  3. Cabling will depend on what you ultimately choose to do. But, you'll at least need a mic cable to go from the B-1 to the power supply or a mixer.

I want to set up my behringer fbq1502

It sounds as if you are not running in series. I assume you are in an insert on the mic channel. The insert send should go to the first item in the chain, then from the output of that to the input on the next item and so on until the output of the final item in the chain goes back to the return on the insert. This is applicable to the type of equipment you have detailed, in some cases however you may be running effects in parallel. Your case is definitely a series situation.

Hi. I bought a Behringer Dynamic Microphone XM8500 but I don't know how to install it. It's not working but probably because I'm doing something wrong. It's my first microphone. Do I need a mixer? Does the...

the type of mic input built into a pc (with a mini-jack socket) will not accept the output of a pro dynamic mic such as the one you have - it won't work correctly. You require a pre-amp or mixer - or what would be better for you would be an audio interface with a built in pre-amp such as this:

interface example.

I have a Behringer Mic C-1U and its not powering up!

How to Operate a Behringer C-1U

The Behringer C-1U is a USB condenser mic for recording individual instruments. A condenser microphone is a mic that uses vibrations produced by sound to change the distance of internal plates that produce signal. Condenser mics typically require an extra change, known as phantom power, to operate. Since the C-1U is USB powered, phantom power is not needed. The Behringer C-1U has a frequency response that favors sounds around the 10KHz range. This heightens the clarity of recorded signals due to the microphone's treble boost.

Things You'll Need:

* Computer with USB 2.0 port
* USB cable
* Recording software

Instructions

Turn on the computer. When the operating system loads, connect the microphone.

Install any necessary drivers for the C-1U. This will happen automatically when the device is connected.

Select the Behringer C-1U as an input source in any desired audio software. In Windows, click the "Volume" icon in the task bar to open the mixer. Select the C-1U as the primary input. On Macs, use the "Audio/MIDI Setup" in the "System Preferences" menu to select the C-1U as the primary input

Note: make sure you activate the phantom power on the mic. That's the only way to power up the microphone.

Have a nice day.

Basic settings for behringer mic2200

basic would be all dials in the middle. and appropriate switching on/off of (phantom power) +48volts. this option is required for condenser mics but way too strong of a signal for normal dynamic mics,like the shure SM 58. or any non-balanced input

Behringer MX 3242x Mic input not working

Unfortunately, the way the mic preamp and gain control are surface mount components on the PCBoard, it's unlikely you'll be able to do it yourself. Best take it to an authorized Mackie repair shop, or send it back to Mackie.
