SOURCE: treadmill tx400 wont work for llonger then 6 seconds

Sportcraft tradmill are very safe. First check and make sure there are no recalls on you unit. Do that on line or call Walmart where you most lickly got you treadmill. Try lubing you deck wich is under the belt. This is something that needs to be done to stop friction... Frition may have worn down the motor. Get back to me

SOURCE: bogs down

Sounds like either the belt is loose or the belt/deck need to be lubed.
To tighten the belt, start by locating the two bolts that adjust the rear roller (one on each side of the unit in the back). Run the unit at about 3 mph. Tighten the bolts a 1/4 turn at a time. Make sure that what you do to one side, you MUST do to the other side or the belt will get off center. After you tighten it 1/4 turn, check the belt to see if it is still slipping. If it is then tighten the belt 1/4 turn again. Continue until the belt does not slip, but do not tighten the bolts more than 2 full turns.
To lube the treadmill, use silicone spray and spray between the belt and deck on both sides. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other problems.

Belt is loose and too far to the right

The side the belt is running to is the side you adjust first.
Turn the machine on to 2 kph.
Stand with 1 foot on the side rail
Try and stop the belt with the other.
If you can stop it tighten both sides 180 deg clockwise.
Repeat test until you can not stop the belt.
Now it is tight.
The rear roller has to be even to keep the belt from running to 1 side.
If you have turned 1 side more than the other the belt will run to the other side.
Hope this helps.

My 97 Acura 3.2 TL starts to overheat and I also notice that the air gets cold when the heater is on. But when I begin to drive after stopping, the temp. goes back to normal and the air gets back hot...

Possible thermostat but more likely fan belt is slipping when idling causing waterpump to slow or even stop spinning. Tighten or replace fan belt that runs over waterpump pulley

After walking about 15 seconds the belt slows way down and stops completely.

The walking belt slows when walked on the walking belt maybe overtightened, treadmill performance may decrease and the walking belt may become damaged or the opposite the drive and /or running belt may need tightening. Last thing would be that the belt needs lubrication to be applied between belt and deck.
