Why can't i receive some text messages, but can others

Most device queries get better responses if the device, brand, model and operating system are mentioned, along with any error messages. Sometimes the culprit lies in some change in sync settings between phone and computer. Sometimes it involves issues related to exchanges of messages between iPhones and Androids. U can try a cold reboot that where u have the fone turn on
and then u take out the battary while the
fone is turn on it fixed many erorr.

for sending text messages :
1. call to your network operator customer care
2. request the message center number...
3.note it down
4. go to message settings>message center number
5. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...

just go to message setting and open sending option and check the no. of text message centre whether it is there or not

Check in your sent folder and look at the envelope next to the message. Each envelope has a check box at the top right corner.

<>If the person you are sending the message to also has Verizon:
-If it was received by the other person, the box will be checked.
-If it has an arrow next to it, it's still in the process of being sent; possibly because the intended recipient is out of service.
-If you click on the sent message and scroll down to the bottom, it will tell you what time the other person received it at.

<>If the person doesn't have Verizon, all the messages you send (regardless of whether or not they were delivered) will have an arrow in the box and it will not tell you what time the person received the message at.

Sometimes, a message will have an I in the box. I think it stands for Incomplete; this only happens to me when I send a message to more than one person and the message doesn't get delivered for some reason.

This is an international symbol on the start of area codes. IE I live in Australia ans text messages received from other Australian mobiles have +61 which is the AUS international area code. If you replace the +61 with a 0 (in the case of AUS text messages) this is now the full mobile number the text was received from. Hope this helps.

The receipeint of the message would receive messages in parts if the message text 160 alphabets. It is the standard for 1 message content.

I think your mobile's internal antenna is harmed. It is not catching the network properly, so take it to an authorized dealer and get it serviced.

I was having the same problem, I have the v170. I called Tracfone and they gave me a number to enter into my phone. Hope that works!

In T630 go to Message>Text>Options>Service Centres>Sellect>Edit, Then edit the no frm someone having the same Network. It will Work!
