If this were your problem it would be obvious the inner tray is in the middle of the machine there is a lever that lifts up as paper stacks up its probably stuck in raised position

Very weird message! Pull down the by-pass tray in the front of the printer and insert a sheet of paper , then print.

SOURCE: Can not get the output tray to use the finishing tray.

Do you mean you have internal finisher? Try to make any copy with staple it should comes out from there, if not you have to go to machine setting or copy setting , you do this by pressing menu buttom, and change the output paper to the internal finisher.

Let me know wat happen after.

SOURCE: Message keeps paper tray is full and it is full.

pull cassette out and look inside the cassette bay on the left side. there is a white gear that lifts up your paper. that might have come unseated. make sure its seated in right by pushing it back in. last but not least, make sure you don't have your rear paper stopper in cassette pushing paper too hard against the front of cassette preventing paper from raising up.

SOURCE: INNER TRAY

the inner tray is where the paper comes out under the top scanner part there is a paper sensor at the exit mark that tells you if you have paper in the tray and lets the machine know it has come out ok. check that it hasnt locked in place.. this can give a false reading too..Good luck
