Tried to reset by unpluging it totry to reset did not work help
Good Afternoon Friend,
I understand that you are receiving a 56 56 code on the display of your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# GLHS269ZDB. I also see that it is not dispensing ice or water, even though you have reset it by unplugging it. The 56 56 is actually SB SB. This tells me that your refrigerator is in Sabbath mode. To exit the Sabbath mode, press and hold the down arrow and the plus sign, simultaneously for 5-10 seconds or until the display changes. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your refrigerator status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

SOURCE: Water & ice dispenser
First unplug the refrigarator. Remove the plastic casing from above the left hand door. Usually the electical connections for the ice/water dispenser are under there along with the hinge fittings. Through time these connections can work loose. Ensure connections are in good order, refit plastic casing and try. This should take no more than 30 mins so should not casue a problem to refrigerator stock. Good luck.
SOURCE: There is a water leak inside the freezer
You need to remove the bottom two baskets, or more to make space. Using a hairdryer, defrost the back area. You should be able to locate a drain hole in the center below the freezer coils. This drain hole is connected on the outside to a drainpipe which has a p trap and often gets blocked up. You need to force water down the drain hole. You can use a turkey baster or similar type of plunger filled with water. Once you have cleared the blockage pour hot water till it runs freely. Hope this sorts your problem, don't forget to rate me.
SOURCE: water is trickling down through where the ice
wait til dark and take a flashlight put it in the ice shute and close door and look up at ice door if you see light then warm air is getting in, if no light turn off water at wall, if it quits leaking replace waer valve. check door gasket on freezer especially at bottom for tears
SOURCE: water dispenser works but the
Does the ice maker do anything to your knowledge (any noises from it, anything at all coming out of it)? You talk about the water dispenser... I guess that is to indicate you are sure water is hooked up to the fridge properly? And did the ice maker work fine for a long while and just suddenly stop? Or has it never worked? Also, you are certain that the control arm that stops the icemaker from making ice is in the correct position as to "start" the production of ice?
Thanks
Tim
