Does anyone have a schematic for a Westinghouse 52" TV controller board?
One of the controller board surface mount resistors (R708) fell off and was lost. Can't replace it unless I can find out the resistance from a schematic. Anyone have a schematic or otherwise might help? Thanks in advance.

its better if you replace the whole power supply board rather than replace the burnt surface mount parts because commonly if the surface mount parts burnt out there are some shorted parts that cause that burnt and possibly repeat the problem..
The tv main Tuner signal board it is dead and it is the causes,if u have 2 burn surface mount resistors on it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole main Tuner signal board for the replacement.
One of two things:
Either:
a) The STK chips you put in are no good (not uncommon)
or
If you weren't careful you may have removed a surface mount resistor accidently while desoldering the orignal STKs. I had a customer do that to me once and figured it out by comparing the board to the schematic for that board location.
I think in the long run you will be better off to just replace the Board or Ship board to PTS for rebuilt

there are fuses on each driver (6 in all) under the heatsinks usually.. make sure these are good. there are also 2 5amp fuses on the g board that supply power to the chips + and - 24volts.. check both of these.. i've seen some check good in circuit and still are bad, check voltage to see for sure. In a rare case, i knocked off a small surface mount resistor when unsoldering the chip, and then the convergence was muted.. make sure no small surface mount parts were moved on the bottom of the board when you soldered. good luck, let me know wif you need futher assistance.
You can not find any schematics for the Magellans. The schematics are classified. Even when repairing GPS's for Magellan we didn't receive full schematics. If your talking about the RF cable connector on the I/O Board (the board attached to the rear housing), then it's an easy solder fix. For the capacitor/resistor: I'm not sure where you found the capacitor origin, but if it's black with four legs coming off and parallel with the IC then tell me and I'll msg you back the rest.
