Question about Canon PowerShot A95 Digital Camera
I have a Canon Powershot A95. The lens won't come out when I turn on the camera. I can see the pictures on the card. The viewfinder remains dark when its in picture mode.
Press the "display" button while in picture mode, it should make normal.

SOURCE: Really Dark Viewfinder
That would explain the darkness if the lens is stopped down. It would seem the aperture control is faulty on the camera body. Normally, the aperture remains open until you take the picture. It is only closed down while the shutter is open.
