When I plug in my charger cable to my laptop the tablet will not charge at all. The tablet tells me its discharging because the only way I can get it to tell me anything is to unplug it from the outlet! When it is charging it will only show the picture of a battery charging, but when I go to see how much of a charge it on it, it only tells me 6% after about 5 hours. Am I doing something wrong? How can I fix this problem? Thank you for the help.

I got my tablet with a charger but after some time it got damaged.. NOW I USE THE MINI-USB cable to charge it.. you can use an adaptor like the one that comes with the Samsung galaxy cellphone and use the mini usb cable with it.. Hope you understand my mess.. good look..
It sounds like you've done most of the things you would reasonably be expected to do to make it function; since it is only 2 months old I would strongly urge you to go back to the retailer and make them replace it or refund you, as your rights in most countries/states allow.
If you're set against doing this, try holding down the power and volume down key for at least ten seconds to see if this boots it into hard reset mode. If this doesn't do anything, try again holding down power with each of the other buttons to see if you can activate any other developer/reset modes.
However, I have read reports that this particular tablet has up to a 40% failure rate in its first six months.
If you can possibly get it refunded, do that and buy something else.

A problem like this is usually due to a loose DC IN socket on your tablet. In such case, the socket may have to be replaced or resoldered. Your charger is most likely still ok. You can confirm this by using it to charge another tablet.
Apple TV ($70), Chromecast ($35) and Roku ($40 and up) all add Netflix capability to MOST TVs. The Roku is more widely regarded as easiest to use and out sells the others. Each may offer a slightly different set of features, but as far as I know - all offer Netflix. Consult each to determine exactly which offer what before purchasing.
Choose a device that offers the same connectivity options as your TV (standard def, Composite, Component, HDMI) and internet availability (Wifi or Cat 5 cable).
