If it shows only a blank white screen, means, there is no video signal. Just try it with external Ariel and see whether there is picture tunes in. If not, the main board to this set is likely faulty. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

I have a SC1312 supersonic tv. The dvd will not spin nor stay in what can I do?

If the DVD on your SC1312 Supersonic TV is not spinning and does not stay in, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the disc compatibility: Ensure that the DVD you are trying to play is compatible with the SC1312 Supersonic TV's built-in DVD player. Some DVDs may be incompatible due to different formats or region codes. Try playing different DVDs to see if the issue persists.
  2. Clean the DVD and the DVD player: Inspect the surface of the DVD for any smudges, fingerprints, or scratches. Clean the DVD gently using a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping from the center outward. Additionally, use a DVD lens cleaner to clean the DVD player's lens, as dust or debris on the lens can interfere with disc playback.
  3. Check for physical obstructions: Carefully inspect the DVD player's disc tray for any physical obstructions, such as foreign objects or debris. Remove any obstructions that may prevent the DVD from spinning or staying in the player.
  4. Reset the DVD player: Power off the TV and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and power it on. This reset can sometimes resolve temporary issues with the DVD player.
  5. Contact Supersonic customer support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it is advisable to contact Supersonic's customer support directly. Provide them with the specific details about the problem, including the model number (SC1312), and describe the symptoms you are experiencing. They will be able to provide further assistance, including potential troubleshooting steps or arranging for a repair if necessary.

Where do I plug the red, white and yelloow in the back of dvd player. I have picture, outside sound and music, but no speaking sound from people.

video out on back of the player. The plugs would be red, white & yellow as well. You may have to check you settings on your tv & player as well if it is plug in the right way. The plugs would plug into your tv's video in- red, yellow & white.

I simply don't understand how to hook up the DVD

OK simple mind maybe this will help. Cable bos to DVD and DVD to TV. A set of red and white cables are for hearing (audio) ( red is general right and white is left) the holes that you plug them into should also be color coded the only real trick is that they are flowing in the correct direction. They should go out from the cable box in to the DVD and then a set should go out from the DVD and into the TV. The Yellow is for video on some units. Not all units need the yellow. Since it is cable there should be a cable connection from the wall to the cable and the only place that might need the yellow is from the DVD to the TV depending on your model of TV. Mine for example, uses an HDMI cable instead of the yellow plug ins. Hope this helps!!

Won't turn on, led flashing

Should be under warranty and allowed to bring it back. Don't force the DVD tray out as that may ruin your chances of an exchange.
