How to watch through hdmi? - Fujitsu Plasmavision 42" TV

Assuming the DVD player has an HDMI port, run an HDMI cable from the DVD player to an available HDMI port on the TV. Let's say you have your TV service going to HDMI #1 on the TV, you can run the DVD to HDMI #2. When you want to watch a DVD, you must select the input/source on the TV remote to change it to HDMI 2(or whichever port you used). When ready to watch TV again, use the same button to change back to HDMI 1 (or whichever HDMI port you used for TV service). If you do not have an HDMI port on the DVD player, then you must use whatever type of connection it has and connect to the corresponding port(s) on your tv, Then follow same directions as above regarding choosing the input/source on the TV remote.

Depends on what is connected to the HDMI ports on the back of the TV. Same goes for the video 1 and 2 ports. Example: If you have a blu ray player connected with a HDMI cable, then you would use whichever HDMI number you connected the cable to on the TV in order to watch the player. Same goes for video. If you have a satellite receiver or VHS tape recorder connected to video 1 or 2, toy would select them to watch that source.

You need to get an HDMI cable and connect it to one of the open HDMI spots on the TV.

There is a socket at the rear panel of your TV to which an HDMI to DVI cable connection. It will look like a large telephone wall socket. OK.

This problem happen to all the HDMI inputs?Only one HDMI input,that one properally is shorted.Might even the HDMI cable is old,and worn out.U have about 6 HDMI inputs on ur tv,rent about 3 DVDs movies and watches test out all ur HDMI ports out.

The main board has malfuntion. Call for service to replace it.
