Why hotpoint WMFG 641 key flashing on control panel

there must be something wrong with the computer board, I would try getting some one else to have a look at it,if its triping the braker on the fuse board it must be the washing machine

Check the carbon brushes of the motor. And then press the button start for about 5 sec. until all leds lights up.

see the cause:To check the control remove the top panel and then remove the console to access the wiring to the control. Find the wire feeding the control from the main power cord. If you cannot visually see this refer to the tech sheet or service manual. Connect voltmeter to the 2 wires feeding the control if it is recieving power and it does not respond replace the control.
