Screen wont work no display present

Most likely a dead battery, you could also check and make sure that that the sensor for the flywheel is in tact

You'll have to open up the battery assembly compartment on the user lower left side and replace your old batteries.

The LifeCycle GX power requirements are

• Battery: 2 D-Cell batteries
• Approximate Battery life: 800hrs

If this does not solve your issue or you need further assistance please do not hesitate to contact our Technical Support Team online or by phone 888-713-2880 or

The Fit Test and Fat Burn do not light up as an option on my Lifecycle 6500HR bike, they used to work now they don't.

This really sounds like there is a problem with your console. You might consider contacting LifeFitness for replacement options and or further troubleshooting. 1-800-351-3737 is the contact phone number for them directly.

I was told that my lifecycle 9500hr wasnt turning on because of the alternator. I replaced that and the display still wont turn on...any ideas of how to fix this????

You were probably steered wrong. I would expect the battery is the problem.

Use a voltmeter to check voltages.

If the battery is fully down, the alternator MAY have to have the field "flashed" to start generating.

In an automobile the current throu the alternator "idiot light" DOES THIS AUTOMATICALLY.but for your lifecycle I don't know how they do that unless the alternator uses permanent magnets.
