the factory default settings, follow the steps below:
From the standby screen,
press Menu
Press Settings
Press Reset Settings
Press on any of the following to check their boxes:
All: Sound Profiles, Display & Light, Phone and Alarm settings will be returned to default values
Sound Profiles:
Only
sound profile settings will be returned to default values
Display and Light: Only
display settings will be returned to default values
Phone: Only
phone settings will be returned to default values
Alarms:
Only alarm settings will be returned to default values
Press Reset
Enter the password default password is "0000", then press OK
If prompted, Enter the password
again to confirm then press OK
Press Yes to Reset the handset's settings to the factory defaults
Just set it to factory defaults first. Setting it to cactory defaults, will reset all the items except picture settigns. Parential password will also be get resetted. You have to set it later. To reset the TV to factory defaults, do the following.
[1] Push Menu button and select Setup.
[[2] Select Reset To Defaults from the drop down window.
[3] Push OK button.
The TV will reset to factory defaults and will display it. After that it will switch ON again. Ok
its a generic problem, open the dvd tray and keep it open, go to setup with remote and look for factory reset/default (might be inside preference settings) ok on factory reset..you might need password from your manual :)
