HOW TO REMOVE YELLOW LINE FROM PRINTED PAGE
Your description of the problem is so vague it would almost be impossible to provide any attempt to resolve this for you. For example - a blob of yellow, patches, lines, missing lines, perhaps a band somewhere across the page or down the page? In any event if it is, say, a thin line running across the page or down the page then that could well be a symptom of a blocked nozzle on the printhead. How often do you use the printer and do you carry out nozzle checks? Is the printer generally in very dry room conditions? So, as an attempt to resolve this for you with only the very limited description you have given, try the following. Set a page to Print to bring the Printer Dialogue Box into view. Click on Preferences and then on the Advanced Tabbed page. On that page, click on Nozzle Check and with a standard sheet of paper in the printer, click to do that check. Examine the output - there will be an example of what it SHOULD look like onscreen - meaning a specific pattern without any breaks in the lines. Even a tiny break indicated some blocking of the nozzle jets. Then use the CLEAN facility offered to clean the nozzles and repeat the nozzle check. That is the most likely cause of your problem. Come back if you still have the problem.

Hi Kirstymaher.
Are you confident the new cartridges are full and in-date? Did you remove the yellow tape from all the new cartridges before you installed them? Were the cartridges changed properly such that an ink charging cycle occurred? Have you carried out more than one head cleaning cycle? If not, do another, then do a nozzle check print. Any sign of ink other than yellow? Yes, but not perfect? If so do a couple more head cleans and nozzle checks. If still not perfect, let it rest for 24 hours to disperse air bubbles. Then repeat.
If you have already done several head cleans with no result, and you're sure you have good ink cartridges properly installed, then You can try soaking the print heads for 24 hours (or more), as follows. Turn the printer on, and as soon as the print head moves out of its parking position, pull the power cord out of the back, or turn the printer off at the mains. You may now carefully move the print head by hand over to the left hand side out of the way. Look inside the print head parking area on the right and you will see a small rubber cup that comes up to cover the print nozzles when the head is parked (to stop it drying out). Use a syringe or dropper to fill this cup with head cleaning fluid or distilled water. DO NOT USE TAP WATER. Carefully push the print head by hand fully into its parking position so that the cup full of fluid comes up over the print head. Do not turn the printer on at any stage in this process. Leave this for at least 24 hours, then turn the printer on and try a head clean/nozzle check again. If nothing, repeat the process once more. If still nothing, post a new comment detailing what you have done and the results.
SOURCE: only black and blue will print on test page; yellow and magenta does not. Ink was just replaced.
Did yellow and magenta print OK before the previous cartridges ran out? If so, it looks like your new cartridges are not working properly. Try another yellow and magenta cartridge - you can re-use the previous cartridges if they turn out not to be faulty. If new cartridges don't solve the problem, you can try soaking the print head, in case you have nozzles blocked with dried ink for some reason.

Repeat the head clean/nozzle check process 2 or 3 times, but not more. Leave for 24 hours for any air bubbles to disperse. If nothing, repeat the soak process once more. Not sure if the situation we're in is the same. I have a similar problem, but instead of yellow lines, it is pink lines. printer is Epson RX510. The lines are more prominent if the print quality mode used is best and if the document to be printed requires the affected color. Upon consultation with the printer technician, I was adviced that it is the print head which has a problem, and changing it is costly and the repair duration even depends on parts availability. With that, I just decided to use the printer just as is. Hope this info helps.

Your printer has ink build up inside it. This comes from cleaning cartridges and builds-up steadily over time. Remove top cover. Wet a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol (available at drug stores) and clean the inside. use a cotton bud where the swab gets entangled.
