Grandson left leapster out in rain when brought in the water was running out of it I removed the batteries which were still dry but wonder if it is ruined or will it dry out and be alright?
It might still be alright. Remove the battery, and put the leapster unit into a ziploc baggie along with some silica gel packs (those little packets that come with shoes and such that say "Do Not Eat") Leave it for a few days until the unit is fully dry inside. Then put the battery back in and give it a shot. We did this with a cordless phone that fell in the sink and it was fine!
