My Nordic track elliptical audio strider 800 console does not work. I have changed batteries and I have purchased the adapter and still does not work. What can I do?

Better to buy a new console. It would be difficult to repair the existing console.

Extreme noise in elliptical when using

With regard to the clunking in the NordicTrack E7sv it turned out to be the left side wheel to crankshaft connection. It had come loose. I removed the left side foot rods and wheel cover plate for access. I re-seated the wheel on the shaft and tightened the hardware. Noise gone. So is all the squeaking associated with it loosening.

Nordic track elliptical clunk

I had a clunking everytime I would use my Nordictrac 1300, the clunking was on the right side. I opened everything up searched everywhere was about to scrap it, when I found the wheel that attaches to the stride handle was cracked. it is the wheel that rolls along the ramp while you are striding, looks like a roller blade wheel. I downloaded the manual. looked up the part and found them at Amazon for $60 per wheel, very expensive! after looking at everything, it looked like the wheels that raised the ramp up and down were the same. So using an allen set, I pulled the wheel that raises the ramp up and down and replaced the cracked wheel with it. I then took the cracked wheel and placed it on the piece that raises the ramp up and down, since it doesn't get as much activity as the stride wheel. if you have to do this know you will need a pair of pliers that takes those C ring clamps off, because the wheels are secured with those rings. took a damp rag, cleaned out a little dirt from the rails, tested it out, runs smoothly at low and high intensity, no more clunking!
