My avanti kegarator not cooling good. Added freon, now warmer than before. Any suggestions?

Is compressor continuously running? If so, and not cooling at all, most likely it’s a freon leak or blockage. If compressor is coming on and off every couple minutes, then it could be relay and overload that plugs onto compressor.

HVAC ,repair man ,,can ck Refrigerant level ,,might need a shot of Freon

Thermostat issue. Have it recalibrated.

if the clutch is turning on that fuse is good check the cooling fan if it doesn't work it will not cool the freon

Needs to be checked for a freon leak, best way to do this is to recharge and add dye, with a uv light you will be able to fine the leak, most auto parts sell the dye, and the flash light you will need to fine the leak, good luck.

same problem, can not fix. Had a authorized service tech who said that you can not add freon to this unit, the only option is to plant flowers in it.

All fridges, freezers, coolers, etc need access ports added to them before any refrigerant can be added to them. Makes you wonder how they do that eh?

Based on what you are saying, when someone says it's a "Throw Away" unit, that means that it is cheaper to buy another one than it is to have the current one fixed.
Now, do you have a specific that we can try to address and possibly do a repair to?

freon and a compressor is about as easy as it gets....Loss of freon will cause erratic cooling...also if you can feel it touch the compressor after it shuts off if if feels like its really hot ....bad compressor that kicks an internal breaker....bad news then time for new one also only a airconditioner man can put freon in no 12 . but freon will stay for 50 to 80 years for i tested some old fridges and still cool fine.
