ELECTRICAL contact spray can work. designed for sensitive situations. Also, electrical cleaner, or spray a bit into a cap and cotton swab it on affected areas to blot and absorb the coffee impurities out.
There should be a few micro stainless steel screws that hold the body housing. Take this off and clean with cotton and electrical spray all impurities on the circuit board. The circuit for the screen is likely not getting the signal to display. Also requires certain voltage that might be too low. For really gummed up stuff, try micro drops of Superzilla to clean, but blot off with alcohol after cleaning is completed. That stuff can eat the plastic eventually if left on but is harmless to damaging metal or glass. Non-toxic Superzilla.

Are you saying you're trying to use your camera as a video recorder from your tv set? Where did you get the idea that would work?

Use a USB card reader on your computer.

Reset the camera to manufature default.

press the DISP button.

You probably just need to format the card in the camera. This will completely erase it so download any pictures you want to save first.

re install. try manual download from my computer, take out memory card

take some rubbing alchol . i mean remove the battery from the camar frist take a soft cloth pour. some rubbing alchol on it where it drippingand soak the back side of the camera let dry for a day or so then try it

unfortunately since the problem is on the hardware (lcd screen), there is no way of fixing it except from the people of the service center.
