What kind of chain oil to use for a 10in remington electric

Regular motor oil for Remington chain saws. 40w if temperature is above 75 degrees.

The only oil you need for your electric chain saw is "Bar and Chain" oil...specially formulated oil sold at Loews,HomeDepot,Ace Hardware, Auto parts stores,etc...
You use this oil to lubricate the chain and bar of your chainsaw when you are using it.
It will go into the oil tank and auto feed to the chain and bar...but keep a check on the oil level to make sure it is being used.
Refill tank when needed.

Chain oil. You can find it at Walmart or anywhere. But you can also just use any motor oil 10W30 or 30W etc.

Use bar and chain oil, not regular motor oil. Bar and chain oil has an additive especially for chainsaws.

You need to use bar & chain oil. It's thicker and stickier that regular oil so it will stay on the bar and chain and not run out of the saw when you are done using it.

Bar & chain oil is the best. You can use regular or synthetic. Some say you can use atf (auto transmission fluid) or sae30 oil. I use bar & chain oil.

Well, if it's electric it doesn't need the 50:1 or 25:1 gasoline to oil ratio 2 cycle oil.

It needs bar chain oil , which is thick and lubricates the chain. Only this kind of oil is required for your chain saw.

Remember to adjust the tension on your chain.

Use regular chain/bar oil available from home centers, hardware stores, and saw dealers.

I assume you are asking about the oil for the chain. Any good quality "Bar and Chain Oil" will do fine. Do not use motor oil you use in your car engine as it will not properly lube the chain and will result in quicker dulling and early demise of the chain.

You can get the "Bar and Chain Oil" at most hardware stores or Farm Supply stores.
