If this is a WS-55511, it is probably caused by a DM module. Unfortunately, it is not available nor does Mitsubishi offer a rebuild option. Mitsubishi's phone# 1-800-332-2119.
Give them a call and you never know what they may offer you.
Hope this helps,

My mitsubishi WD-65735 1080P has a green blinking light under the word lamp..what does that mean?

all these sets have a boot up if unplugged.

If power is lost or disconnected when reconnected green light will blink for about 70 seconds (set is rebooting) and then go off allowing set to be turned on.

I have a Mitsubishi WD-62525 HDTV that suddenly wont turn on. Just has a green blinking light when you hit the power button. Any ideas?

I found this on another website, most likely it is your power supply capacitors.
  1. Press the "reset" button and hold for 10 seconds .... Does TV turn on and blinking green light turn to solid green.

  2. Unplug the TV from it's power source for various times, ranging between 5 minutes and 24 hours..... Does blinking green light continue upon plugging in the TV.

  3. Disconnect ALL devices from the TV; DVD, Tuner, Cable Box, unplug the TV for various duration times .... Does blinking green light continues upon plugging in the TV.

  4. Press Power and Menu buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  5. Press Power and Display buttons simultaneously and hold depressed for 20 seconds .... Does blinking green light continue to flash.

  6. Insure that no front panel buttons are inadvertently stuck in an "engaged" position.

Diagnosis: If none of the above test resolve the issue, then the failure lies in one of the following:

  1. DM Module Capacitors have FAILED.
  2. DM Module is defective.
  3. EEPROM Board failure
  4. Power Supply failure.

I have a green flashing light and my tv won't turn on.

This is cause of a power interuption. Try unpluging the TV from the wall, and waiting several min. Then plug it back up, wait serveral min again and the green light should stop blinking. Then turn it on.

LCD will not turn on power blinks on and off screen flashes same

You have a bad capacitor. Location is 2074, this is a 25 volt 2200MF 105 degree radial cap! Have a tech check any other caps nearby as well! This is a good start for repair......PS no flashing allowed!

The constant blinking green light means that the TV is not booting up. This is a common problem on this set.You need to remove the shield from the DM board (standing upright on the left where the DTV RF connector is)and inside you will see the four leaky capacitors (1000 MFD 16 VOLT)replace them, plug the TV in and wait 70 seconds for the blinking light to stop, then turn on the TV.The hard part will be removing the board from the TV(lots of screws and connectors, takes time)
