probably bad control board. check this. push the on/of key. the whole ref and freezer nedd to stop. if you hear the compressor in the upper part of the unit or the fan. your contol board need replace.

I would never get rid of my Sub Zero they are the best made and, I service all makes of refrigerators good for you; buying the best!

I have found no fix for this. I have tried repainting but it is not long before the paint is falling off again. Get ahold of sub-zero and tell them of the problem.

Is ice on the back cover on the left side? if it is you have a leak in the evaporator... if its under 12 yrs old call an authorized sub zero service it will be covered
