Go to search by swiping on the right side of the screen then choose settings and then type Manage audio devices - locate your audio device and then set as default / connect
I've had this happen twice with Logitech headsets and believe it has to do with the cheap/fine wire they use in the cables. I suspect that a good tug on the cable will snap the wire or some other internal connection.
Check the sound setup in Windows, could be your default recording device is not configured properly. Here is an article on Windows Vista, but most applies similarly to Windows 7 and even XP.
Hi, I have a skype approved logitech headset. I can hear sound, but I cannot record sound or communicate on it. I cannot even find the headset as option as Preffered Device in Sound and Multimedia. I am using Windowsxp
