You may have 2 problems. One may be the turn signal bulb is blown which causes the fast blinking. Or, your turn signal wires may have caused a fuse to blow which has resulted in the signal flashing and no horn if they are on the same circuit. Check all your fuses.
You may need to change your HD settings on the back of the console ( HD setting is actually on cord ) I had that issue when I first went online w/360 . If that does not help u know X box costumer support will repair any damaged system prob. no cost and does'nt take as long as they say.
If it is an older Laptop... it could just be the HD not spinning up correctly or not spinning up as fast as the PC is booting. There is a HD check to the BIOS in the first seconds of the Boot. BIOS doesnt see it... you get the fail.
A good test is after it fails... do a CTRL/ALT/DEL to restart the system... if it Boots then it was the HD not keeping up.
OPTION: Also check to see if the BIOS needs updated and this is a tricky opperation to do... make a mistake you loose your system. This could also help if the condition is common and a patch was created.
It doesnt hurt the to run it the way it is. The Drive lagging like that doesnt always mean the HD is bad. If it occours every single time I would worry. Buy a New HD to be safe and also the newer HD's will help 100% on the Speed of the system.
