I\'m assuming you have the 3.8 engine,although i believe the firing order is the same on all there v6 sideways mounted front wheel drive Windstars. That firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6, with 1-2-3 going from left to right on the back side of the engine and 4-5-6 left to right on the front side of the engine.Looking straight down at the coil from the front of the car,you\'ll see 2 rows of coil terminals.The row on the right side is 1-2-3 going from top to bottom,row on left side is 6-5-4 going from top to bottom. Hook the number 1 coil terminal to the number 1 spark plug ,being careful to use the spark plug wire that is closest in length to the length you need. If your just replacing wires,yuo shouldn\'t have to much trouble. If your nreplacing the spark plugs you will find the ones in the rear,especially the number 2 [the middle one} are pretty difficult without removing the cowling.
